JAC Motors Targets SMEs With New Truck Financing Offer

Elizade JAC Motors has introduced a mobility and financing solution aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that rely heavily on hired vehicles and third-party transporters to move goods.

The offering provides SMEs with access to JAC trucks ranging from 1.6-tonne to 10-tonne capacities, with petrol, hybrid, CNG and diesel options, giving businesses different vehicle configurations based on their operational requirements.

Moving From Transport Costs to Asset Ownership

The initiative is built around a common challenge for businesses that depend on logistics: recurring spending on hired vehicles can become a significant operating cost without creating an asset for the business.

Elizade JAC Motors is positioning vehicle ownership as an alternative, allowing businesses to invest in their own transportation capacity rather than continuously paying third-party operators.

The company's Chief Operating Officer, Arvind Bhardwaj, also highlighted the costs associated with keeping older vehicles on the road, including repairs, maintenance, tyres and batteries.

For SMEs, the decision therefore extends beyond the purchase price of a truck. Reliability, maintenance requirements, fuel type and the frequency with which a vehicle is used can all influence the overall cost of operating a logistics fleet.

Logistics as a Business Capability

Transportation directly affects how businesses receive and move goods, fulfil orders and serve customers, making reliable logistics an operational consideration rather than simply a transport expense

.For businesses with regular delivery requirements, owning the vehicle used for those operations can provide greater control over availability and scheduling, while reducing dependence on external transport providers.

JAC Motors' financing initiative is therefore targeting a broader SME challenge: helping businesses build the physical infrastructure required to support their operations as they grow.

The range of truck capacities and powertrain options also allows the offering to address different logistics requirements, from smaller delivery operations to businesses handling heavier commercial loads.
